OpenTTD 1.4.1-RC2

The 1.4.1-RC1 testing release still had a few bugs that were found due to your play-testing efforts. Among them an issue for multi-head train refits at stations, and an old bug where cargo was not aging. The entire list of changes can be found in the Changelog.

As usual, please test the new new 1.4.1-RC2 release, and report any bugs that you find to the FlySpray bug tracker.

If all goes well, we should have a new stable release soon.

OpenTTD 1.4.0

Today is 1/4/14, and after 1+4 betas and 1 release candidate, we reach the 1st stable release of the 1.4 series... ok, I missed some 4s and the "1+4" may have been too much of a stretch; but what does that matter if you get OpenTTD 1.4.0 ?!

Thanks to those who helped testing, you can find the new stable release on our download page.

Enjoy building stuff!

OpenTTD 1.4.0-RC1

1.4 stabilisation has progressed, so today you get the first release candidate for the new stable.

Most noticeable it includes the new titlegame for the 1.4 series, which won the very close competition. Thanks to all participants!

Please give OpenTTD 1.4.0-RC1 a final burst of testing and report bugs to our tracker, so we can release a proper stable in a couple of weeks.

Final vote for titlegame now open

From the first round of votes the three most popular games have been shortlisted, entries 02, 11 and 13 (kept as numbers till voting is closed to not make it a vote for names game). Now it's time to choose from these three most favourite ones the single most favourite one. The winner of this round is the savegame which will be shipped with all OpenTTD 1.4.x releases. Every person has one vote exactly.

Deadline for votes is March 15th 23:59 UTC.

You can either vote by writing me a forum message with the topic "titlegame competition" or write an e-mail to me.
